Construction

RASCO KLOCK offers an array of services in the area of construction law, including consultation on project delivery models, design contracts, front-end engineering design (FEED) agreements, construction contracts, supply agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, claims management and dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration and litigation.  In addition, we offer customized training sessions on practical construction law and project development issues to enhance your team’s project management capabilities.

Our focus is to assist our clients in developing and constructing their projects in a manner that minimizes risks and maximizes rewards, while reducing the likelihood of disputes.  For that reason, we work diligently with our clients to understand their needs, expending sufficient effort at the front-end of the project to select a tailored project delivery model and to clearly articulate the obligations of the contractor, the design professionals and the owner in the contract documents.

Our lawyers are experienced in a variety of project delivery models, including:  traditional construction contracting (lump sum, cost-plus (with or without a guaranteed maximum price), unit price and open book); design-build; turnkey; construction management (both construction manager at-risk and not at-risk); EPC (engineering, procurement and construction); build-own-transfer; build-own-operate; and P3 (public-private partnership).  Our experience includes both public sector and private sector projects.  In terms of public sector projects, we are experienced in representing clients in bid protests and disputes in both the administrative and judicial forums.

Our goal is to assist our clients in the development of their projects, with a view towards timely and cost-effective completion, and we have the resources to achieve that goal.
