Securities Law Expert Craig D. Linder Joins Coral Gables-Based Law Firm

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Oct 15 /PRNewswire/ — Craig D. Linder, a prestigious corporate, securities and finance lawyer in Florida, has joined Coral Gables-based RASCO KLOCK PEREZ & NIETO, P.L., as Special Counsel, where he will head the Firm’s securities law practice.

Craig David Linder, P.A.

Commented Ramón Rasco, firm co-founder and chair: “…”

Linder responded: “To work among a group of elite lawyers with more than 100 years of combined experience working in a broad range of practice areas in the world’s largest international law firms, and to be able to provide such high quality large law firm expertise to clients at reasonable rates is too good of an opportunity to pass up. The firm and I share the common philosophy that by eliminating the unnecessary overhead and the distractions of an administratively inefficient environment of a large law firm, we are better suited to provide a level of efficient, cost effective personalized service increasingly rare to clients at large law firms. Having directly worked side-by-side with high caliber lawyers such as Joe Klock, Janet Munn, Gabe Nieto, J.C. Anatorcha, Jack Shawde and John Eaton during my legal career at Steel Hector & Davis LLP all the way back to 2000, I am well aware of their extraordinary capabilities and the mere fact that all these accomplished lawyers joined the same firm is a testament to the superior quality of the firm and the legal services it provides.”

Joe Klock, firm partner and former chair of Steel Hector & Davis LLP, added: “…”

Gabriel Nieto, firm partner, added:  “…”

Prior to joining the firm, Linder worked as a corporate, securities and finance partner for 6 years, and as a corporate securities associate for 5 years, at various large international law firms such as Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P., Steel Hector & Davis LLP (which merged with Squire Sanders in 2005), and Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP.  He has assisted clients in closing more than US$11 billion in private and public debt, equity, convertible and complex hybrid security offerings. He has counseled a broad range of clients on private placements, venture capital financing, private investment in public equity financings, resales of restricted stock, public offerings, foreign offerings, Rule 144A financings, mergers and acquisitions, loan transactions, corporate governance matters, executive compensation, securities law compliance issues, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Dodd-Frank Act, and Jobs Act compliance, and regulatory issues.  He has also worked extensively with registered companies and their reporting officers and directors providing counseling with respect to periodic and annual reporting and other SEC disclosure requirements, including insider reporting.

Linder earned his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and a Masters of Law in Corporate Taxation from New York University School of Law. He is also a member of the Florida, New York and California State Bars. He was named a Top Deal Maker in 2008 by the Daily Business Review and holds a Martindale-Hubble AV rating.
