ALBERTO H. ORIZONDO focuses his practice on general and complex business litigation, real estate litigation, residential and commercial mortgage foreclosures, construction litigation, real estate development, homeowners’ association and condominium association law, family law, and creditor representation in chapter 7, chapter 13, and chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and related adversary proceedings. Mr. Orizondo also has experience serving as general counsel for homeowners’ associations and condominium associations in South Florida, with firsthand experience handling many facets of associations including, but not limited to, turnover, elections, improvements and renovations, recertifications, collections, lien foreclosures, and terminations.

Mr. Orizondo is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. Mr. Orizondo was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to parents hailing from Sancti Spiritus, Cuba and Matanzas, Cuba respectively, and is very proud of his Dominican and Cuban roots. He received his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (f/k/a The John Marshall Law School) in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Miami, Coral Gables majoring in political science and philosophy, and graduated summa cum laude from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in 2001. He is an avid golfer and proud member of the Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables, his home course.
