MELISSA SOY is a young Cuban-American professional who is a member of the Corporate and Estate Planning Departments at Rasco Klock’s Miami office. Melissa is a foreign lawyer who obtained her first Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Havana, School of Law, Cuba. After graduating in 2010, she worked for the Cuban airline, Cubana de Aviacion, S.A., and for the Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Cuba, handling multiple aircraft transactions, regulatory compliance issues, and corporate matters.
After relocating to the United States in 2014, Melissa started working at the Firm for our Corporate, Real Estate, and Estate Planning Departments. Throughout the years, Melissa has worked extensively alongside the partners of the Firm assisting and handling multiple transactional and estate planning matters. In addition to her obtaining a Juris Doctor and Master Degree from the University of Miami, her legal experience in a civil law system, and Spanish being her native language, are skills that allow Melissa to handle sophisticated matters involving domestic and Latin American clients and counsel.
