Frank J. Sinagra (Of Counsel)

LaraFrank J. Sinagra is of cousel to the firm. He has practiced law in South Florida for 35 years and is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Civil Circuit Court Mediator and enjoys an AV Martindale Hubble rating from his peers.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters degree in political science from State University of New York at New Paltz. In 1969 he decided to pursue the practice of law and moved to Florida to attend law school.  He graduated with honors from the University of Florida School of Law in December, 1972 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in May, 1973.  

Mr. Sinagra has practiced primarily in the area of commercial litigation, handling complex commercial cases on behalf of clients in state and Federal court.  During the course of his practice he has represented clients in numerous bench and jury trials as well as in American Arbitration Association proceedings.  A representative sample of the types of clients he represents include, but are not limited to, banks and banking institutions, private lenders, investors, manufacturers, contractors, and large and small business establishments offering goods and services to the trade and to the general public.

During the course of his representation of banks, banking institutions and various types of lenders, he has participated in numerous workout conferences with lenders and borrowers and has contributed to the formulation of innovative and effective workout strategies that maximize the possibility of repayment to the lender. His representation of businesses has entailed advice and consultation during the course of negotiating contracts, shareholder agreements, employment agreements and similar business arrangements.

Typical litigation matters he has handled during his years of practice include claims involving real property disputes, construction defects, mechanic liens, breach of warranty, lender liability, foreclosures, secured transactions, replevins, receiverships, trademark and copyright infringement, breach of contract, restrictive covenants, warrants of arrest in admiralty and professional liability claims.

Mr. Sinagra has also represented clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and leveraged buyouts involving such businesses as a medical practice, a drug store, a concrete masonry company, an aircraft parts business and a marine fabrication company.
