Steve R. Reininger, Esq.
Steve R. Reininger co-founded the firm of Rasco, Reininger & Pérez, P.A. in 1985 following his partnership in the litigation practice group of Finley, Kumble, Wagner, Heine, Underberg, Manley and Casey. Mr. Reininger is board certified by the Florida Bar in the area of business litigation. He is a trial attorney admitted to practice in Florida, New York and the District of Columbia, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Tax Court and several intermediate federal courts.
Mr. Reininger has extensive experience in the trial and appellate courts, as well as the administrative law process in the representation of clients in a wide spectrum of substantive law areas including real estate, banking, insurance, environmental, securities litigation/arbitration, corporate law, civil rights/employment discrimination, family law/dissolution of marriage and receiverships. He has published numerous articles in the Securities Regulation Law Journal and The Florida Bar Journal. He has also served as an expert witness in areas securities and partnership law, in addition to appearing on various programs concerning unlawful stockbroker activities. Mr. Reininger is a regular lecturer for The Florida Bar’s Continuing Legal Education program, as well as speaker for the National Business Institute in the area of real estate litigation law and stockbroker fraud.
He has served as an arbitrator of the N.A.S.D. in disputes arising between customers and brokerage houses and is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association. He is a Circuit Court and NASD Certified Mediator and was the Chair of the Business Litigation Certification Committee of the BLSE of The Florida Bar. His community involvements include being a member of the Coral Gables Anti Crime Committee and the Two Hundred Club of Miami. He is a member of the Spellman-Hoeveler Inns of Court and of the Florida Association of Managing Partners, Inc. Mr. Reininger serves on the South Florida Board of Directors for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and its Miami-Dade County Civil Rights Committee. He received his Bachelor’s degree with honors from Queens College of the City University of New York and earned his law degree from the University of Miami, where he served on its moot court board and was awarded the Order of the Barristers.
