Santiago Gatto, Esq.
Santiago Gatto is an associate in the firm's corporate and international practice area groups. He received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was named a member of the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, Mr. Gatto was the recipient of numerous honors including the Daniel P. Gaubatz Memorial Award and Dean's Certificates of Achievement in Constitutional Law II and Comparative Law; he also served as Writing and Research Editor of the University of Miami Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board.
Mr. Gatto received both his B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Florida International University, where he was a graduate teaching assistant and was named to the National Political Science Honor Society.
Mr. Gatto specializes in the areas of corporate, project and aircraft finance, mergers and acquisitions, and international arbitration and general corporate law. He has experience representing majority and minority stake holders in domestic and multinational firms doing business in the U.S., Latin America and Europe. Before joining the firm, Mr. Gatto practiced for five years in the Miami office of a 1,200 lawyer firm. Born in Bariloche, Argentina, Mr. Gatto is a native Spanish speaker.
