Ramón E. Rasco and Steven Reininger originally founded the Firm of Rasco, Reininger & Pérez, P.A. in 1985 with the objective of providing excellent personalized legal services in complex transactions and commercial litigation matters to businesses, entrepreneurs and investors. the firm continues this philosophy.
Rasco has extensive experience in business law matters, including complex real estate purchase and sale agreements, financing, leasing and syndication transactions and workouts. He has served as an arbitrator of the American Arbitration Association and has lectured on real estate and commercial leasing law before the Third and Sixth Conferences of Lawyers of the Americas, the University of Miami Conferences for Latin American Jurists and before various Florida Bar groups. Rasco is a member of the American Bar Association, the Inter-American Bar Association, the Cuban-Bar Association and the Dade County Bar Association. He is active in community affairs and has served as a board member and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bertha Abess Children’s Center and as secretary and director of Ready State Bank. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Latin Builders Association and the Beacon Council, as treasurer of the Baptist Hospital Foundation and has chaired the Baptist Children’s Hospital Development Board Committee. He is the Chairman of US Century Bank and serves as a Director on Doctors Hospital’s board. Born in Havana, Cuba, Rasco was named Financiero del Año last year by CAMACOL.
Steven Reininger has extensive experience in the trial and appellate courts, as well as the administrative law process. He has served as an expert witness in areas securities and partnership law and is a regular lecturer for The Florida Bar’s Continuing Legal Education program, as well as speaker for the National Business Institute in the area of real estate litigation law and stockbroker fraud. He has served as an arbitrator of the N.A.S.D. in disputes arising between customers and brokerage houses and is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association. He is a Circuit Court and NASD Certified Mediator and was the Chair of the Business Litigation Certification Committee of the BLSE of The Florida Bar. His community involvements include being a member of the Coral Gables Anti Crime Committee and the Two Hundred Club of Miami. He is a member of the Spellman-Hoeveler Inns of Court and of the Florida Association of Managing Partners, Inc. Mr. Reininger serves on the South Florida Board of Directors for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and its Miami-Dade County Civil Rights Committee.
